The Ecumenical Community Food Pantry of Norwood, Inc. (Norwood Food Pantry) will provide equal opportunities to all volunteer applicants without regard to an applicant's race, color, religion, gender or gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other status or characteristic protected by law.
I understand that the volunteer Executive Director position requires the ability to lift 50lbs and/or stand, bend, kneel or squat. In addition, the position requires visual acuity sufficient to read food labels, expiration dates and data on computer screens. The volunteer Executive Director must follow direction from the Norwood Food Pantry Board Executive team. All volunteer positions at the Norwood Food Pantry are “at will” and may be terminated at any time by either party. The volunteer Executive Director position requires the ability to consistently work Saturdays, weekday mornings, and occasional evenings.
I WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE Norwood Food Pantry from any and all liability, including, but not limited to: liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons, for my disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me.
By applying to the volunteer Executive Director Volunteer application, I hereby certify that the answers given by me during the selection process are true and correct without reservation and hereby authorize the Norwood Food Pantry to verify same. If an opportunity is obtained under this application, I will comply with all orders, rules, and regulations of the Norwood Food Pantry. Unless otherwise noted in this document, I authorize the Norwood Food Pantry to verify information I have provided during the selection process regarding former employers, volunteer organizations and educational institutions. If upon review, anything contained in my statements are found to be untrue, I understand that I will be subject to dismissal at anytime. If this application leads to a Norwood Food Pantry volunteer opportunity, I understand that I may undergo a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) background check. I understand that any false or misleading information in my application/interview or criminal record may result in my release.
