The Norwood Food Pantry remains committed to tackling food insecurity. Thank you for considering the Norwood Food Pantry and for helping to strengthen our community.

Four Ways to Donate

1. Drop 2-3 bags of food at our donation box at 150 Chapel St, behind Grace Episcopal Church between 9am and 11am Monday-Friday. This ensures that a volunteer secures the items and protects them from weather that could make them unusable.

2. Drop off smaller donations in our convenient drop boxes inside Stop & Shop, Shaw's, the Morrill Memorial Library, or Town Hall.

3. For larger donations (4 bags or more), call 781-291-3663 or email us at info@norwoodpantry.org to schedule an appointment. We are unable to accommodate large donations without an appointment.

4. Don't have time to make it to the store? Want to make a monetary donation in remembrance of a loved one or special occasion? The Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, so your contribution is fully tax deductible.

We are unable to take donations on Saturday as we are serving clients.

Most Needed Items (listed in order of need).

Canned Soups (Chicken, Beef, Vegetable, Tomato, Chowders, Lentil)
Cereals: Cold (small 11–14 oz.) Frosted Flakes, Fruity Pebbles, Raisin Bran, Honey Bunches of Oats, Fruit Loops, Rice/Corn Chex, Honey Nut Cheerios, Granola
Hot Oatmeal: small boxes of Variety and Plain
Instant Coffee (Regular, Decaf), Tea (Herbal, Green)
Cocoa Mix (small boxes of 6 – 10 packets)
Boxed Rice Mixes (Rice Pilaf, Near East, Rice a Roni, any store brand, etc.)
Boxed Pasta (ziti, penne, rigatoni, macaroni, cavatappi, spaghetti, etc.)
Instant Mashed Potatoes (small boxes)
Canned Beef Stew, Hash, Chili with Meat, SPAM
Canned Chicken (5-ounce cans or small pouches

Chunky Peanut Butter (small jars)
Crackers: Ritz, Townhouse, Triscuits, Wheat Thins, Graham Crackers
Cookies/Snacks (Oreos, EL Fudge, Chocolate Chip, Granola & Cereal Bars)
Pudding Instant Mix/Cups (chocolate or vanilla) and Gelatin (strawberry, cherry, or orange)
Pet Food: Dry cat or dog food (small 3-5 pounds). Canned food is also welcome.
Hygiene Items - #6 Diapers, Pull-ups, small dish/laundry detergent, shampoo,
deodorant, toothpaste) are also gratefully accepted.

Note: The donations above are listed in order of need. Small sizes are requested.

Individual donations may be placed inside the pantry donation bin (no more than three bags). If you plan on dropping off more than three bags or running a food drive, please click here OR contact the donations manager at 781-291-3663.

Donations We Cannot Accept:
For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept food donations that are open, homemade, damaged, dented, unlabeled, expired or do not reflect ingredients and expiration dates. In addition, we cannot accept clothing, household items and any type of nutritional aid or medication (aspirin, cough medicine, etc.).
