SPECIFIC Food DONATIONS FOR GRAB-N-GO BAGS NEEDED!
The Norwood Food Pantry remains committed to the health, safety and well-being of our clients and volunteers during these unprecedented times. In response to recommendations by the CDC, the Greater Boston Food Bank and most importantly for the safety of the community, we have transitioned to pre-packaged bags containing essential non-perishable items augmented with perishable items such as milk, cheese, eggs, produce and meat selections.
At this time, we are requesting that any monetary donations be made to our Project Bread Walk for Hunger Team that directly benefits local food pantries and school programs.
Managing donations during is challenging! To ensure the food you are donating is not affected by the weather, we are requesting that you drop off items at 150 Chapel St. between 9 am and 12 noon on Wed, Thurs or Fri when a staff member can bring them inside.
If you wish to drop off a large donation (more than three bags) or wish to drop off at a different time, please email us at to schedule an appointment. We are unable to accommodate large donations without an appointment.
