Registration/Application Information

 

The Pantry is staffed 100% by volunteers and is open to residents of Norwood and Westwood who meet eligibility criteria.

 

The Pantry is located at the back of the Grace Episcopal Church, 150 Chapel Street, in Norwood.

No one may shop at any other Pantry if they are shopping here. The registration paperwork is reviewed, recorded in the pantry’s confidential database, and clients keep their papers. No individual client information is provided to anyone outside of the pantry.

New clients are required to complete paperwork by their third visit to the pantry.  You may register online (use the form below), or register with the Intake Coordinator when you visit the Pantry. They are available during pantry hours and will help you complete the process.

Each client may shop at the Pantry up to TWO times each month, on Saturday mornings from 9:00am - 11:40 am.

The following information is required to fill out the registration paperwork. 

We need a copy of the current benefit letter with the date and amount received (NOT THE CARD) for ALL Adult members in your household from the first list OR the second list. 

1. Provide one of the following documents as proof that you live in Norwood or Westwood.

  • Bank Statement

  • Benefit Statement

  • Driver License

  • Earnings Statement with address

  • Mass State ID

  • Mortgage Statement

  • Rental/Lease Agreement

  • Utility Bill


2. Provide names and birthdates for all family members living in your household.


3. Provide recent account information or letter regarding one of the following government benefits for ALL Adult members in your household:

  • EAEDC (Transitional Assistance to elderly, disabled, and children)

  • TAFDC (Transitional Assistance to families with dependent children)

  • SNAP- Food Stamp Benefit Letter (available on SNAP website)

  • SSI (Supplemental Security Income)

  • SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance)

  • WIC letter

  • Norwood or Westwood Housing Assistance (section 8)


OR

4. Provide information regarding ALL income received by ALL Adult members in your household. A statement or pay stub from each source is required.

  • Salary/Wage Statement (paycheck stub including year to date income, taxes paid, etc.)

  • Alimony

  • Child Support

  • Pension

  • Social Security Benefit Statement (not the SS card)

  • Unemployment Benefits

  • Veteran Benefit Statement 

  • Workers Compensation

  • Other Income
