Snap & WIC benefits
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can help you expand your healthy food budget. WIC is a nutrition program that provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and other services, free of charge, to Massachusetts families who qualify.
Federal COVID SNAP benefits are ending, but Massachusetts will continue their SNAP program and 3 partial payments will be issued on April 7, May 2 and June 2. For families who use WIC- make sure you swipe your WIC card first, as the monthly benefit resets (it does not rollover or accumulate) each moth. Your SNAP benefits will roll over each month.
