Thank you!

We have received your application.

Thank you for volunteering to help us at the Norwood Food Pantry.  It is people like you, who step forward in these tough times to help others that are struggling, that reinforces our faith in human kind.Like the rest of the country, we too are practicing social distancing.

Therefore we are limited in how many people we can have at the pantry each day in order to keep our clients and volunteers safe.  If it is acceptable to you, we would like to put you on a waiting list so that we can reach out to you in the near future.  I have cc:ed the person who coordinates the volunteer job you applied for,  so that they can reach out to you when an opening becomes available.

Please be aware that our waiting list has become very long due to outpouring of volunteers at this time of need.  If you are looking to volunteer in the near future, we will probably not be able to accomodate you.  We would recommend that you reach out to other volunteer organizations to see if they have openings.  Otherwise please be patient and we will call as openings become available.

Thanks again for your unselfish offer to help.
